Convatec EDI310 to TRAX Failure Lloyds IMO Value
Convatec EDI310 to TRAX Failure
ERROR: Chain.io Flow: logical_fail – Send ConvaTec Ocean Freight Invoice EDI310 to TRAX
CAUSE: Lloyds IMO value not found due to invalid Vessel Name on Consol
HANDLED BY: EDI Support Team
SUPPORT PROCESS Summary: The chain.io error notification will state the ‘lloyds-imo is longer than 8 characters’, causing the mapping to intermediate JSON to fail. The core issue is that the Vessel Name on the related Consolidation file is not valid and needs to be corrected. Once corrected on the Consol, the applicable Invoice must be re-triggered.
DETAILED STEPS:
1. Sample Ticket

2. Open the shipment and then open the consol

3. Click the Ellipse by Vessel Name to view the Vessel configuration

4. Find the Vessel and locate the valid full name; Select this value and save & close the Consol file

5. On shipment billing tab, open the Invoice in question and navigate to the workflow and tracking/events tab. Right-click on the grid section, choosing ‘Add New Event’

6. Enter ‘ATH’ as the event code (Authorize) and then ‘Add Event’. Save the record to trigger the invoice to TRAX.

7. Confirm the invoice processed successfully in the chain.io portal, by viewing the file status as ‘pending’ (this means the invoice was sent successfully and we’re now waiting for the EDI997 to be returned by TRAX.)

8. Close the support ticket by marking as ‘Closed’, adding your name as the Agent and adding the Tags ‘RESOLVED’ and ‘CONVATEC’.
